Design, Display, and Camera
The design is quite similar to the M13, though it is a bit thicker probably to accommodate the bigger battery. You get the same plastic back and frames, though the front is covered in tougher Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Samsung Galaxy F13 features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with 1080 x 2480 pixels resolution. A V-cutout is provided for the 8 megapixels selfie camera. The wide angle camera has an f/2.2 aperture with HDR and can record full HD videos.
On the back, you find three cameras. The main 50 megapixel wide-angle lens has an f/1.8 aperture and is supported by a 5 megapixels ultrawide angle lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Both the front and rear cameras take decent shots. These are also exactly the same cameras found in the M13. On the side, a fingerprint sensor is provided for unlocking the smartphone.
Hardware and Software
Samsung Galaxy F13 runs Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on an Exynos 850 (8nm) Octa-core chipset. The chipset is built on a dual-cluster architecture consisting of two Cortex A55 quad-core processors both clocked at a speed of up to 2.0 GHz. It has Mali-G52 GPU for graphics.
This is the same chipset we found in the M13 and other Samsung phones like the Galaxy A13, the Galaxy A12 Nacho, and the Galaxy A22.
You get an option of 64GB or 128GB for built-in storage with 4GB RAM provided. If you need more storage, the smartphone can support up to 1TB additional storage via a dedicated memory card slot.
Samsung Galaxy F13 has a 6000 mAh battery. This puts it ahead of most of the 2022 Galaxy MSeries on battery capacity, boasting of 62 hours talktime and up to 24 hours of internet browsing on 4G. However, just like the M13, it features 15W fast charging capacity, which is not as impressive as the 25W charging capacity provided for models like the Galaxy M23, the Galaxy M33, and Galaxy M53.
Connectivity
The android phone comes with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-fingerprint scanner for security. Galaxy F13 support 4G LTE on both SIM slots with an innovative Auto Data Switching feature that automatically switches data connection to the second SIM if the current SIM losses data connection. It does not offer 5G connectivity.
