Design, Display, and Camera
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro has a premium look and feel and available in just black. It is airtight and water resistant and can survive up to 35 minutes in up to 1.5 meters of water. The manufacturer also claims it can survive drops from up to 1.5 meters on concrete and use in the rain.
The Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro sports a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected in a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ with dot-notch provided for the 13 megapixels front camera.
On the back, a dual camera setup is provided. The rear camera module consists of a 50 megapixels wide angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8 megapixels ultra wide angle lens. Dual Flash is provided for the rear camera.
The rear camera can record 4K videos, while the front camera caps at 1080p full HD videos.
Hardware and Software
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro powered by a Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G (6 nm) chipset. The chipset offers two uad-core Kyro 670 processors clocked at 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz respectively. It has an Adreno 642L GPU for graphics and runs on Android 12 OS with One UI 4.1 on top. This is the same chipset we saw on the Galaxy A73 5G.
The Samsung phone sports 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage with a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion via memory cards.
You also get a removable 4050 mAh battery, which means you can easily swap out the battery yourself when need be without requiring a technician. You get 15W fast charging support.
Connectivity
USB-C port (USB 3.2), POGO charging connecting pins, single or dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, Bluetooth 5.2, tri-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/mc/6e support, NFC, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
