Infinix Hot 20i marks the beginning of a new generation of the Infinix Hot Series, the Hot 20 Series. It is the most affordable member of the series which also includes the Infinix Hot 20, the Hot 20 Play, the Hot 20S, and the first 5G enabled member of the Hot series, the Infinix Hot 20 5G. It is a successor to the Infinix Hot 12i and offers some improvement in hardware and software.

Design, Display, and Cameras
The design of the Infinix Hot 20i is very similar to the Hot 12i. The color options may have changed but the two devices resemble each other but for minor differences.
Even the fingerprint sensor is still on the back unlike what we have noticed with a couple of brands like Tecno moving the fingerprint sensor from the back to the side. You still four color options: Wilderness Black, Luna Blue, Energy Green, and Sunset Gold.
Infinix Hot 20i features a 6.6-inch IPS display with 720 x 1612 pixels resolution. This looks similar to the 12i, though the display can be brighter for better outdoor viewing with support for up to 500 nits brightness. You also get blue light reduction.
The three rear cameras seems the same though the positioning appear a bit different. Now you have the small camera ring sandwiched between the two big rings unlike in the 12i where the small ring was the bottom camera.
You still get a 13 megapixels wide angle lens supported by two QVGA lenses and dual LED flash. In the V-notch in the front, you will find the 8 megapixels camera for taking selfies. Both cameras can record Full HD 1080p videos. The front camera also has an LED flash.
Hardware and Software
Infinix Hot 20i runs Android 12 with HiOS 10.6 on a MediaTek MT6762G Helio G25 (12 nm) octa-core processor. Models like the Nokia G10 and Xiaomi Redmi 9A also came with the Helio G25. This is an upgrade compared to the quad-core Helio A22 provided with the 12i.
You two storage options: 64GB and 128GB with the option of 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM. It supports up to 3GB virtual RAM for the model with 4GB RAM and up to 5GB of virtual RAM for the model with 6GB RAM via the Extended RAM feature.
The Infinix phone sports a 5000 mAh battery just like the previous iteration. However, it now adds 18W fast charging which makes charging faster.
