Design and Display
Infinix Hot 20S shares the same design language as all the other member of the Hot 20 series especially the Infinix Hot 20 and Hot 20 5G with fingerprint sensor on the back. The rest of the family like the Infinix Hot 20i and Hot 20 Play share largely the the same design but with the fingerprint sensor on the back.
Infinix Hot 20s sports a brilliant 6.78-inch IPS display with 1080 x 2460 pixels. With 120Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate the smartphone should be decent for gaming.
The mobile phone is available in Sonic Black, Tempo Blue, and Fantasy Purple. There is also an Infinix Hot 20S Neon Edition that comes in Light-rider White and features a light-sensitive body a bit similar to the Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition.
Photography
Infinix Hot 20S also has a better camera compared to most of its other sibling. Perhaps the Hot 20 5G is the only model with a comparable camera. It has three cameras on the back with a 50 megapixels wide-angle lens, a 2 megapixels macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens.
The smartphone will deliver decent photos and videos with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), HDR, Panorama, and quad-LED flash. For videos, the rear camera supports up to 1440p 2K HD videos.
An 8 megapixels camera is provided in the front. It is placed in a punch-hole in the front. Dual-LED flash supports the front camera. You can also do Full HD 1080p videos on the selfie camera.

Infinix Hot 20s runs Android 12 with XOS 12 on a Mediatek MT6781 Helio G96 (12 nm) octa-core processor. The chipset runs on a Cortex-A76 dual-core processor clocked at 2.05GHz and Cortex A55 hexa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz respectively.
This runs the same chipset we saw in the Infinix Note 12 G96, the Note 12 VIP, and the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro. It is a decent gaming phone considering the screen specs, the processor, and sizeable RAM.
The smartphone offers an 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. You can add up to 5GB of virtual to the 8GB RAM onboard and you also get a dedicated slot for expanding the built-in storage by up to 512GB. It has a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging capacity and 5W reverse charging capacity.
Infinix Hot 20S features some kind of adaptive refresh rate, which varies the refresh rate depending on the requirements of the view. It can switch automatically between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz.
Connectivity
The android phone features USB Type-C port with OTG support, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. It supports 4G LTE. 5G connectivity is not available on this phone.

Infinix Hot 20s price is expected at around 165,500 Naira. Price starts at around $215. Hot 20s costs about 2500 GHC in Ghana and 18,400 KES in Kenya.
