This phone has a matte finish, which gives it a non-reflective and subdued appearance.

On the front of the device, there is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch at the top for the front-facing camera. it also has thin bezel surrounding the display.

Furthermore, the Blackview A53 display has a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and a brightness level of up to 450 nits, which provides a smooth and fluid viewing experience. This camera setup is very similar to last year Blackview A52 display with slight improvement in the resolution.

At the bottom, sits a USB Type-C port from the bottom with a microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and speakers. There is also the dual SIM with memory slot at the left. Overall, the design and build of the A53 is very satisfying.

Display

The A53 has a large 6.5-inch display that comes with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 270 pixels per inch (PPI). The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of around 80.6%, which means the bezels around the display are relatively thick, especially at the bottom.

While this resolution may not be as high as some other smartphones in the same price range, it should still provide decent image quality and sharpness for basic everyday use cases, such as web browsing, social media, and video playback. Additionally, the IPS LCD technology used in the display provides good viewing angles and color reproduction.

Camera

Compare to the Blackview A52, the A53 has an improved camera setup. There is now a triple camera on the rear in place of the single rear setup. This includes 12-megapixel wide camera, 2-megapixel depth camera and 2-megapixel macro camera.

On the front of the android phone, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera located in a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The front camera also has several features, including beauty mode and gesture control, which allows users to take selfies with hand gestures.
