Design
Oppo A1 has a design similar to most mid-range device. It has a slim profile with a thickness of just 8.2mm, making it easy to hold and use with one hand. With a body made of a plastic frame and a glossy plastic back panel, this phone is relatively lightweight and easy to carry around.
The front of the phone is protected by a 2.5D curved glass, which gives it a premium look and feel. It has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a punch-hole cutout that houses the front-facing camera.
The rear panel of the phone has a camera module positioned at the top left corner with two cameras and an LED flash arranged in a vertical line. The Oppo branding is also present on the back of the phone.
On the right side of the phone, you’ll find the power button, and the volume rocker. The power button is integrated with the fingerprint sensor. The bottom of the phone houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, and a single speaker grille.
Display
The Oppo A1 display features an IPS LCD panel with a size of 6.72 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has 20:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of around 86.5%, which means that the display occupies most of the front of the device, and there are minimal bezels around it. This should provide an immersive viewing experience, especially for multimedia content such as videos and games.
The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes animations and scrolling smoother, resulting in a more fluid user experience. Additionally, the display has a brightness of up to 550 nits (typical) and can go up to 680 nits (HBM) in high brightness mode.
Camera
Oppo A1 has a dual rear camera setup including a 50 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture. This camera is a wide-angle lens and uses autofocus (AF) technology to ensure that your photos are in focus. The high resolution of this camera makes it suitable for capturing detailed images with high levels of clarity and sharpness.
The second camera has a resolution of 2 megapixels and features an aperture of f/2.4. This camera is a depth sensor that helps to capture depth information and create a blurred background effect in portrait mode. The depth sensor works by measuring the distance between the camera and the subject, allowing the camera to create a depth map of the scene.
Additionally, there is a front camera with 8-megapixel sensor, which is suitable for taking selfies and making video calls. The camera app on the Oppo A1 offers several features, including HDR mode, panorama mode, and various filters and effects. The camera also supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.
