Design

Honor has successfully managed to make the Magic V2 a convenient device to carry around. Touted as one of the thinnest foldables on the market, the Magic V2 has 4.7mm thinness when unfolded and 9.9 mm when folded making it a breeze to slip into pockets and carry around.

Additionally, the Honor Magic V2 has diverse finishes and body material: varying form glass back, to eco leather back depending on users preference. Both model has a magnesium alloy frame and titanium alloy folding mechanism.

The Magic V2 boasts a durable hinge that achieve a gapless folded state and offers stable intermediate angles, although, the inability to achieve true infinite adjustability might be considered a limitation by some users.

On the outside, the Honor Magic V2 features a 6.43 inches OLED display which is closely similar to the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, when unfolded, the phone sports a 7.92 inches OLED display which is larger than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5’s 7.6-inch display.

Additionally, the Honor Magic V2’s camera system is neatly integrated into the design. There is a triple-camera bump on the rear panel, while on each display sits a punch-hole at the top center that hold the single selfie camera.
