Blackview has launched its first affordable foldable phone, the Blackview Hero 10. This is the cheapest foldable with remarkable features. The Blackview Hero 10 sports a similar build with the likes of Nubia Flip 5G and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. It has a 6.9-inch AMOLED main and 1.19 inches OLED Cover display with a dual rear camera led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. This proclaimed world cheapest flip phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 4000 mAh battery.

Design

At first glance, the Blackview Hero 10 shared lots of similarities with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Nubia Flip 5G. Although, this smartphone is referred to as the cheapest foldable phone, it’s more a flip than fold. It has a beautiful build covered with a slim layer of vegan leather on the back and with aerospace-grade aluminum-alloy frames with refined texture.

The HERO 10 not only provides every touch with a soft tactile sensation but also showcases grace with every flip. It sports a light and compact design measuring 169 x 75.5 x 8.1 mm dimension when unfolded and 87 x 75.5 x 16.3 mm while folded, making it more pocket-friendly. The overall weight is heavier than the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at 187g, instead, it weighs 198 g which is also slightly heavier than most standard smartphones.

Additionally, the Blackview Hero 10 exterior features dual rear panels. The 1.19-inches  cover screen has a round design with joined module holding the dual rear camera and LED flashlight.

This secondary display, allows users to view notifications, time, battery status, and caller ID without the need to fully open the phone. Meanwhile, both upper and lower profile of the phone is held together by a large hinge which according to the company can withstand 250,000 folds.
