Samsung has introduced its newest mid-range smartphone; Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 with an improved premium design, bright display, great camera, and large battery life. The Samsung Galaxy A35 which is the smaller version features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a triple camera including a 50MP main lens and a massive 5000 mAh battery. This device also has Exynos 1380, an Octa-core processor with One UI 6.1 user interface.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy A35, while sharing similarities with the Galaxy A34, introduces significant enhancements in its design. Samsung has included a glass back panel instead of a plastic one. However, the frame of the A35 remains plastic. Despite this, the A35 maintains a sleek appearance, with a dual-glass construction consisting of a glass back panel and a Gorilla Glass Victus+ front panel, replacing GG5.

The phone’s frame retains its plastic material but features a new bump on the right side housing the volume and power buttons. Contrary to initial concerns, this bump enhances usability, making it easy to locate.

In terms of size, the Galaxy A35 closely resembles its predecessor, measuring approximately 6.37 x 3.07 x 0.32 inches (161.7 x 78.0 x 8.2 mm) while weighing 209g. It features a flat shape with curved edges and protruding cameras on the back, reminiscent of the Galaxy S24 series.

At the front, the Samsung Galaxy A35 features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device has a punch-hole design on the screen that accommodates the front camera. It also features an under-display optical fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.

On the rear, the phone has a nicely positioned triple camera. Samsung describes the camera design as “flowing,” with three rings protruding from the back with an LED flash beside it. Moreover, the Galaxy A35 is IP67-rated for dust and water protection, aligning with the standards of many Galaxy A phones.
