The Motorola Edge (2024) is a premium-level addition to Motorola’s Edge series smartphone equipped with higher-tier hardware, a slightly larger battery, an upgraded main camera sensor, and more impressive features than its predecessor, the Edge (2023). Despite these upgrades, the device is priced higher than many competitors with similar features, making it a more expensive option in its category.

Design

The Motorola Edge (2024) has a similar build to last year’s Edge (2023) design. It has a glass screen that curves elegantly along the side edges to where it meets the aluminum frame and leather back. Although the leatherback is soft and more sturdy than glass, it easily attracts dirt, especially with its dark midnight blue color.

Meanwhile, the Edge (2024) profile is slim with thin edges measuring an overall dimension of 159.6 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighing 174 g, thus contributing to a comfortable user experience. This streamlined design enhances the phone’s portability while maintaining a modern, elegant appearance.

On the front, the Motorola Edge (2024) features a 6.6-inch display that extends seamlessly across the edge of the device. The top of the screen houses a punch-hole design for the front-facing camera.

For functionality, this Android phone has a power button and two distinct volume buttons on the right, while the bottom has a USB-C port (USB 3.1) and SIM slot.
