itel P55T is more or less like the itel P55 4G, but with a bigger battery and newer software. itel swaps out the 5000 mAh battery in the P55 for a 6000 mAh battery that offers more battery stamina to keep you active for a longer period of time. The itel P55T features a 6.6-inch display, a 50MP dual rear camera, and Android 14 (Go Edition).

Design, Display, and Camera

itel P55T features a familiar design. This design you have seen in other itel phones like the itel A70 and the itel A50.

The sides are flat with rounded corners. The cheap Android phone is available in three colors: namely astral gold, astral black, and astral purple.

On the back, you have two cameras, one of which is a 50-megapixel camera. This is exactly the same rear cameras on the P55 4G. The camera placement is similar to A70, A50, and P55 4G except that the LED flash is assembled to form a ring.

A punch-hole is provided on the display for the 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera also features a Pro mode, which puts a couple of tools in your hands for improved photography if you have the experience. The camera quality is decent for the price. You also get the Dynamic Bar for notifications around the front camera.

itel P55T features a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. With up to 500 nits of brightness, outdoor viewing should be okay.

The SIM tray is located on the left side, while the power button and the volume rocker are located on the right side. The bottom side is where you will find the 3.5mm headphone jack, the USB Type C port, the microphone/mouthpiece, and the speaker grill.

Like is customary with itel, the box includes all the accessories you need to get started. In the box, you will find an 18W fast charger, an earphone, a USB Type C cable, a phone case, and a SIM ejector pin.

Hardware and Software

itel P55T runs Android 14 (Go Edition) on the Unisoc T606 chipset. The chipset is built on a 12-nanometer octa-core processor consisting of two cores of Cortex-A75 and six cores of Cortex-A55, both clocked at up to 1.6GHz.

It has 128GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM. You can expand the RAM using the Memory Fusion feature. You can increase the RAM capacity by up to 4GB using virtual RAM. This means you can get up to 8GB RAM (4GB physical and 4GB virtual) for a smoother experience. There is also a dedicated memory card slot for adding more storage capacity.
