Design

The HUAWEI MateBook 13 (2020) model has a similar design to its predecessor. It is still the optimal and portable, yet robust laptop but with a slimmer 14.9 mm metallic frame that is meticulously crafted with a diamond cut finish on each corner.

This laptop is entirely made out of aluminum alloy, with a slim lid. When opened, the lid host the 13-inch 2K FullView Touch Display with thin bezels around the display.

On the top bezel Huawei hid the camera and at the bottom, below the display is Huawei logo. By the way, the screen is covered by a glass sheet, which makes it extra resistant to flex.

The Huawei laptop also has a full-size backlit chiclet keyboard with large keys on the base chassis. It keys form an array of small, flat rectangular or lozenge-shaped rubber or plastic keys that look like chiclet, hence, it has a large travel distance. Below the keyboard is the touchpad.

In addition, the Power button is located in the top-right side of the base, for easy navigation and control and it embodies a fingerprint scanner.  While the speakers are placed on the bottom of the device.

Above all, the HUAWEI MateBook 13 (2020) comes with two USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports, an audio jack for plugging in a headset.
