Design
HP ZBook Firefly 14 G7 is the smaller version of ZBook Firefly 15 G7 in terms of portability and screen size. It is sleek, smooth, strong, and made of aluminum-alloy, yet maintains its ultra-portable body.
It has a slim lid with wedge corners and can be opened to almost 180 degrees. The Firefly 14 G7 sports the same ZBook logo as other ZBook models. Instead of the HP logo inscribed on most HP laptop lids, there is a boldly inscribed “Z”.
When opened, the lid accommodates the 14-inch screen when opened with thin plastic bezel around it. Inside the top lid there is a 720p HD webcam, while the bottom bezel host the HP logo embedded in the middle.
HP ZBook Firefly 14 G7 also has a 180% hinge which allows the laptop to open up to 180 degree and also holds the the screen to the body.
On the base, there is also a Full-size, spill-resistant, backlit keyboard which is practically the same as in the Firefly 15 G7, however, the number pad on the right side has been omitted.
The keyboard comes with 1.3mm travel distance, a nipple button positioned in between the G, H, B keypad with numerous programmable keys and an integrated power button. There is also a Microsoft’s Precision touchpad with glass surface offers a smooth and easy navigation. And an audio speaker above the full sized keyboard for immersive audio experience.
