HP has apparently decided that it is not yet time to change the material used for its Pavilion laptops.
The HP Pavilion 15 (2016) still sports a plastic body which is sleek and pretty. This is no laptop for those looking to make class statement with their devices.
However, it is worthy of note that the tech company has at least put in some work to make the HP Pavilion 15 (2016) look slimmer.
Similar digital threaded design that is used for the new HP Pavilion x360 convertibles is also used here.
The HP Pavilion 15 notebook is fitted with a huge 15.6-inch display. This screen can be configured with HD, Full HD or 4K resolution as you can afford. There is also the option of a touchscreen.
The Performance
The HP Pavilion 15 comes in different configurations offering distinct levels of performance. It can be equipped with sixth-generation Intel Core i processor (up to Core i7).
There is also the option of having a unit fitted with seventh-generation AMD A12-9700P quad-core processor.
If you are interested in being able to play games, you can add an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, GTX 950M or GTX 960M graphics card to the Intel-powered units or Radeon R7 Graphics to the AMD offerings.
Ample RAM of up to 16GB capacity is provided to get things moving smoothly without a hitch.
