BlackBerry has now released its popular BlackBerry Messenger app (BBM) for the Windows Phone. This means that owners of Nokia Lumia phones can now download the BBM at the Windows Phone store and connect with their friends and colleagues already on the popular messaging app.
BBM for Windows Phone is still on Beta but will offer most of the essential BBM features like BBM chats, BBM groups, BBM Feeds, and Find friends. You can also pin a BBM chat or a group chat to the Start Screen for easy access.
While announcing the availability, BlackBerry’s President for Global Enterprise Services John Sims said “As the popularity of BBM continues to grow, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand its availability to the Windows Phone community. The BBM app for Windows Phone is an exciting new chapter for the BBM service, and we are excited to be working with Microsoft to deliver a new level of collaboration to the Windows Phone platform.”
You can now download BBM Messenger at the Windows Phone store. It is available for Windows 8 and above. BBM Beta is free. Download BBM Beta for Windows Phone
