Design and Display
Umidigi Bison X10S offers a rugged build that can withstand harsh environments and survive a drop of up to 1.8 meters. Most of the body has a Storm Grey AG Matte Fiberglass finish with curves around the corners covered in rubber cushions to absorb the pressure of fall. The camera lens are also protected in tough material making underwater usage possible.
All this results in a formidable smartphone even in tough environments resulting in the smartphone getting ratings like the IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810G.
The IP68 rating means it can withstand up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5 meters or water as well as ability to withstand dust and sand. With IP69K rating the Umidigi X10S can also withstand steam at up to 100 bars (1450 psi) or water pressure and water temperatures of up to 80 ℃.
To cap it all, you also get military grade ruggedness, thanks to the MIL-STD-810G. The smartphone has a Lanyard hook, so you can connect a lanyard and hang it on your neck.
Umidigi Bison X10S sports a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is decent for watching movies and browsing the web.
Aside the usual power and volume control buttons, the smartphone comes with two customizable buttons. One of the customizable buttons can be used for under water photography.
You can also assign actions to the buttons such that a single click, double click, or long press of the button will activate the action like access an app or function like take a screenshot.
This model however lacks a fingerprint sensor. You only get an AI enhanced Face Unlock feature via the front facing camera. However, if you want a fingerprint sensor, go for the Bison X10S NFC instead (if it is available in your country).

Umidigi Bison X10S features a similar triple camera setup as the Power 5S. It offers a 16 megapixels main sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 6-element lens, a 5 megapixels macro camera, and an 8 megapixels ultrawide camera with a 119° field of view.
In the front, you get an AI enhanced 8 megapixels camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5-element lens for taking selfies and for Face Unlock.
The rear camera Panorama shots and HDR and has dual-LED flash. Both Cameras can record full HD videos.

Umidigi X10S features the same Unisoc T310 (12nm) Quad-core chipset in the Umidigi A13s, the Umidigi A11s, and Power 5S. The chipset is built on a dual-cluster architecture with a Cortex-A75 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and tri-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz.
This android phone offers 4GB RAM with 32GB built-in storage. You can upgrade the built-in storage via a hybrid microSD slot with support for up to 256GB of additional storage via a memory card. However, you would have to sacrifice one SIM card slot.
