Tecno Pova Neo 5G and Pova Neo 2 are the successor of the Tecno Pova Neo budget smartphone with a big battery. However, this 5G model is the more premium of the two successors offering 5G connectivity, a more powerful processor, a more brilliant display, and a better camera. Tecno Pova Neo 5G features a 6.8-inch display, a 50MP dual rear camera, and a 6000 mAh battery.
Tecno Pova Neo 5G is more of less like the 5G variants of the Tecno Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro. It however offers a better display than the Pova 4, though the later will offer a better performance.

Design, Display, Cameras
Tecno Pova Neo 5G comes in plastic body with glass cover for the front. It is available in Sprint Blue and Sapphire Black. Like we saw in the Tecno Pop 6 Pro and couple of other new android phones, the finger print sensor has now been moved from the back to the side.
The smartphone still retains the two camera rings on the back. However, you now have a much improved camera with a 50 megapixels dual camera provided. The configuration consists of a 50MP wide angle lens and a QVGA lens.
In between the two camera rings is a Quad-LED flash. The front 8 megapixels camera sits on a punch hole. This is a departure to the earlier model that offered a V-notch. Like in the previous generation, dual-LED flash is available for the selfie camera. Both cameras can record 2K 1440p videos at 30 fps.
Another big improvement for this 5G model is the display. Tecno Pova Neo 5G sports a 6.8-inch IPS display with 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. This is a good quality display great for watching movies and browsing the web. The display offers up to 500 nits brightness and with support for 120Hz more hold some promise in gaming.
Hardware and Software
Tecno Pova Neo 5G LE6 runs Android 12 with HiOS 8.6 on a MediaTek MT6833P Dimensity 810 (6 nm) octa-core processor. This is similar to the CPU in models like the Infinix Note 12 5G, the Xiaomi Redmi 11S 5G, and the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G.
The processor has two clusters consisting of a dual-core Cortex-A76 clocked at up to 2.4GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at up to 2.0GHz.
This Tecno Pova is available with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. You also get a dedicated slot for memory card enabling you add up to128GB additional storage.
The Tecno phone keeps battery capacity at 6000 mAh, so it is expected to keep the heritage of big battery capacity that the Tecno Pova Series is known for. That said it still features a whole 1000 mAh less than the Tecno Pova Neo 2, which is perhaps the only department where it lags to the Neo 2.
With support for 18W fast charging capacity, you can charge up the phone fast so you don’t have to miss a lot.
Connectivity
The 5G phone sports dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. You also get microUSB (USB 2.0) with Bluetooth 5.0. Wi-Fi (including dual-band Wi-Fi) is also supported.

Tecno Pova Neo 5G price in India starts at around 15,499 INR. The Pova Neo 5G is expected to cost around 135,000 Naira in Nigeria and 16,499 KES in Kenya.
