As its name suggests, the LG Rolly Keyboard 2 is a second-generation, Bluetooth-enabled keyboard which succeeds the Rolly Keyboard released last year. The premium keyboard is designed to be a portable wireless keyboard you can carry around to use anywhere with your smartphones or tablets.
The Design
The LG Rolly Keyboard 2 retains the foldable design of its predecessor. It still remains a portable keyboard you can easily carry with you everywhere, although it is now slightly thicker, longer and wider.
Perhaps, this suggests that the accessory is more robustly configured than the original Rolly Keyboard. It has dimensions of 274 x 31.7 x 30.7 millimetres and tips the scale at 160 grams.
You get a standard keyboard with an integrated dock on the LG Rolly Keyboard 2. This means you should be able to get more productive with your smartphone or tablet when on the go.
When done with whatever task you need a keyboard for, this one can be rolled up into something looking like a stick and you are good to go. Among the improvements on the Rolly Keyboard 2 is the addition of a tab at the base to make it more seamless rolling up and unfurling.
LG Rolly Keyboard 2 Adds a Key Row
This wireless keyboard is now closer to the standard offering you will find on a notebook. The LG Rolly Keyboard 2 now boasts five rows of keys, compared to the four that was provided on its predecessor.
You may say five rows is still one short of what a laptop keyboard offers, but this is still an improvement nevertheless.
More Device Support
The original LG Rolly Keyboard 2 came with support for no more than two devices. Its successor can now be paired with up to three devices at once. Devices running on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac OS X operating systems are supposedly supported.
Connection to these devices will be done via the Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity feature as was previously the case.
Pricing & Availability
LG Rolly Keyboard 2 is currently only available in South Korea. LG Rolly Keyboard 2 is expected at around $110 (about 25,000 Naira).
