Poco, a product lineup of Xiaomi, has launched its latest performance and power-packed smartphone, the “Xiaomi Poco F6,” under its F-series. Succeeding the impressive F5, the Poco F6 offers longer battery life with its 5,000 mAh battery, accompanied by 90W turbocharging support. It’s also the first of its kind to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The Xiaomi Poco F6 boasts a 6.67-inch OLED panel, a dual rear camera setup, and a 20 MP single front camera. It runs on HyperOS, based on Android 14, providing a seamless and enhanced user experience.

Design

The Xiaomi Poco F6 is a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3, featuring a similar design. It has a plastic rear and frame, with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus front, which offers robust protection against scratches and impact damage.

The frame has flat edges, while the rear cover is slightly curved, maintaining the same plastic unibody design.  Furthermore, the phone has a compact design which measures 160.5 x 74.4 x 7.8 mm in dimension, and weighs only 179 grams.

On the rear, the Poco F6 features an individual camera design similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R. The Poco F6 has three rings on the rear panel, each with a slightly larger footprint and more protrusion.

Of the three rings, two house the rear cameras while the third, positioned to the side, hosts the LED flash. Despite the larger-than-necessary camera modules, the glossy back has been replaced with a textured, shimmery panel designed to minimize fingerprints and smudges.

The android phone features a 6.67-inch display with ultra-thin bezels, achieving an impressive 89.8% screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, there is a punch hole at the top center of the phone that housed the front facing camera. Meanwhile, the side-mounted fingerprint reader has been replaced with an under-display scanner.

For functionality, this Poco phone has different well position slots and buttons. The right side of the phone housed the volume rockers and the power button. The bottom however, houses the dual SIM slot, loudspeaker grill, primary microphone, and USB Type-C port.

There is no microSD expansion slot. Additionally, the top of the device features a speaker vent, secondary microphone, and an infrared sensor. However, the device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

Display

The Xiaomi Poco F6 boasts a 6.67-inch high-quality AMOLED display, known as the CrystalRes Flow AMOLED panel, which features a 1.5K resolution. Additionally, with 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut, the screen ensures vibrant and accurate colors.
