An iPad that is twice as fast
Last year Apple made the iPad 4 twice as fast as its predecessor. The iPad Air is repeating the same feat touting up to 2 times the CPU performance and up to 2 times the graphics performance. Despite more power, iPad Air still maintains a 10 hours battery life.
Apple iPad Air is built on Apple powerful A7 processor with 64-bit architecture with iOS 7 running things with smarter multitasking. It also comes with the M7 motion coprocessor.
Display & Camera
iPad Air spots the same the same brilliant 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 pixels Retina display. On the back is a 5 megapixels camera, which can record 1080p HD video and a front 1.2 megapixels FaceTime camera with 720p HD video for video calls.
It will be available in Wi-Fi only models and a cellular model that will offer both Wi-Fi, 4G LTE as well as options for WCDMA/HSPA+ or CDMA EVDO.
Price and Availability
The new iPad Air will be available in first in the United States starting November with the Wi-Fi only models priced at $499, $599, $699, and $799 for the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage models respectively. Cellular models will cost $629, $729, $829, and $929 respectively.
