If you want a mid-range phone that looks and feels high-end, the LG Optimus F7 is not bad. Its 4.7-inch IPS display is quite large and with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution is crisp with great colour reproduction. The 8 megapixel camera is very good for a mid-range phone. It also records full HD video.
