Nokia Symbian phones were some of the first smartphones to support DSTV Mobile. In fact, devices like the Nokia 5330 even came with DVB-H receiver built-in. These days however, you need a DVB-H accessory called the Drifta Wi-Fi to watch up to 16 DSTV channels on your Symbian phone. Most Symbian Phones with Wi-Fi should support DSTV Mobile. The Drifta currently costs 12,250 Naira.
The following Symbian Phones should support DSTV Mobile:
- Nokia E7, E6, E72, E71, E75, E63, E52
- Nokia N8, N97, N97 Mini, N95, 808 Pureview?
- Nokia C7, C6
- Nokia X6, 5800 Xpress Music
Confirm compatibility before you buy the Drifta.
You will also need to download the DSTV Mobile Decoder App at the Nokia Ovi Store. Download Here. Install the DSTV Mobile Decoder App on your Symbian phone, relax and enjoy TV on your mobile phone.
