The Samsung KS9800 SUHD TV is the flagship television set by Samsung for 2016. This 4K Ultra HD TV boasts virtually everything you can expect to find in a top-of-the-range set, from Quantum Dot technology to awesome full-array backlighting and smart features. Samsung KS9800 SUHD TV will be available in 65-inch, 78-inch, or 88-inch with model numbers Samsung 65KS9800, Samsung 78KS9800, or 88KS9800 SUHD TVs, however models in Europe (and by extension Nigeria and Africa) will come only in 88-inch.

Note the Samsung KS9500 SUHD TV models sold in Europe are equivalent to American models of the Samsung KS9800. So, while the Samsung KS9800 come in three screen sizes in the United States, the European (which will work in Nigeria and Africa) KS9500 offers two screen sizes (65-inch and 78-inch), while KS9800 comes in 88-inch.

Design and Display

Featuring a curved LED panel, Samsung KS9800 SUHD TV is built for immersive content viewing. It is intended to deliver enjoyable viewing, regardless of where you are seated. The set boasts Quantum Dot Colour technology which ensures you get super-sharp, life-like colours.

The Samsung KS9800 SUHD TV comes in 65-inch, 78-inch or 88-inch screen-size. However, like I have said many times already in this article, the European models will be available in 88-inch only, because the 65-inch and 78-inch has already been taken care of by the KS9500.

Samsung KS9800 boasts several other features that help to deliver awesome viewing, including Supreme Motion Rate (SMR) 240 (or 200), Precision Black Pro and Peak Illuminator Ultimate.

Smart TV

Powered by its maker’s Tizen operating system, the Samsung KS9800 SUHD TV, as you would expect, is a Smart TV. It is not like the usual, though. The quad-core processor-driven set lets you access live TV as well as stream content and use apps all in the same place with Smart Hub.
