Nokia could be unveiling two new Windows Phone 8 smartphones in the coming weeks. This is based on a report by phonearena citing the approval of the regulatory filling of the two Nokia Lumia Phones bearing the model numbers by the Indonesian communications regulator. As a result many tech analysts expect the Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) coming up this February.
The Nokia Lumia 520 is expected to be the low-end model, the successor of the Nokia Lumia 510, and will bring Windows Phone to the mass market. On the other hand, Nokia Lumia 720 is expected to be a mid-range model seating between the Lumia 820 and Lumia 620.
These will make it three Nokia smartphones that is rumoured for MWC, 2013 launch, the third being the Nokia Lumia 1000, the high-end model expected to features aluminium casing and a real Pureview camera like the one on the Nokia 808 Pureview. Not much is known about the new devices, but hopefully we will know more soon.
Nokia is really doing a good job of making its Windows Phone 8 smartphones available at different price points.
