Innjoo Max 2 is the latest addition to its maker’s Max series of power-focused smartphones, the first of which was the Innjoo Max released earlier this year. The attractive phone packs a powerful battery, an HD display, robust cameras, a quad-core processor and Android Lollipop software.
Display and Camera
The Innjoo Max 2 sports a 5-inch diagonal display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. With a pixel density of about 294 pixels per inch, the IPS panel looks like one to deliver exciting viewing experience, especially when with friends.
The camera department has received a boost in the Innjoo Max 2. The main camera has been bumped up to an impressive 13 megapixels – comparable to what you’d expect to see on most upper-midrange smartphones, at least on paper.
The shooter features dual flash for highly captivating picture quality. The selfie snapper has also been upgraded from 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels! You may find it hard leaving this phone alone if you are a selfie addict.
Hardware and Software
Just like its predecessor, the Innjoo Max 2 is equipped with a quad-core processor – very likely to be an offering from the stable of MediaTek. The CPU, which is also accompanied by a rather lowly 1 GB of RAM, has its processing speed clocked at 1.3 GHz.
Onboard storage memory is 16 GB, which users will be able to expand further by up to 128 GB using a microSD card. As one would expect, Innjoo has supposedly decided to go with Android 5.1 Lollipop this time.
How many decent new devices come with Android 4.4 KitKat or earlier these days anyway? You should expect richer Android experience than what was possible on the Innjoo Max.
Additional Information
Among the main selling points of the Innjoo Max 2 is its large 4000mAh Li-Ion battery, similar to the one found on its predecessor. This juicer capacity exceeds those of batteries on some tablets and means you should expect it to handle long and heavy use before needing to top up again.
