With Opera mini 5, you are no longer stock with one website at a time. You can open multiple websites at the same time on your mobile phone. Opera mini 5 creates a tab for each website enabling you to switch easily from one website to another. Note that if your mobile phone is low on memory, Opera Mini 5 will struggle when you open multiple tabs. Opera mini 5 will also require a phone with at least 240 x 320 pixels display.
Opening Multiple tabs and sites
Here are simple steps to open additional sites on Opera mini. This guide assumes that you have already opened the first site and now wishes to open another tab or site. It also assumes you have already loaded Opera mini 5 or later on your mobile phone. You have a number of options for opening your first site: use speed dial, address bar, Google search bar, bookmarks, etc. To open additional tabs on Opera mini, follow the following steps:
- click on menu, left soft in Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic, the menu will appear
- Click on the plus sign (+) at the top right corner of your Opera mini 5 browser window, a new tab with a unique browser window will be created
- Use speed dial, address bar, Google search bar, bookmarks, etc. to open a website on this tab
To switch from one site to another, Click on the Opera mini tab associated with the site.
