IkokuOnline is among the 100 startups selected from a total of 25,000 applications received from over 135 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Getting selected for one of the world’s biggest startup conference is a great feat the company has earned as a result of the unique solutions and value it’s been providing in the past months.

Founded by Fortune Bekee and Emmanuel Ugochukwu, IkokuOnline is one of the first to bring Nigeria’s auto industry online. With an aim to solve problems faced by car owners in Port Harcourt and Africa at large, they provide instant delivery of car parts and car maintenance services to homes and offices.

Although the startup serves just Port-Harcourt residents, it has made giant strides in the ecommerce industry, dominating the auto parts market online within 7 months of its existence.

With a customer base of close to about 500 people, and a total sale of up to 1000 individual items to over 170 customers, you can rightly say that IkokuOnline has successfully captured a significant share of the daily revenue of the city’s auto parts market.

Ikokuonline will join startups from around the world to attend Startup Istanbul, scheduled to hold from October 20th to 23rd 2017.

Over the course of 4 days, they will connect to the best mentors, investors, tech executives and media; participate in workshops, demo day, boat tour and much more. There will also be the Istanbul Startup Challenge in the course of the conference, where a number of the 100 startups will be selected by mentors to pitch to a jury for a chance to participate in the final day pitch, and be among the winning startups.

For Fortune Bekee and Emmanuel Ugochukwu of IkokuOnline, getting selected for Startup Istanbul is a validation that they are doing something great, and providing real value. They are further encouraged to grow IkokuOnline beyond the shores of Nigeria, and confident that the experience from the event would provide a great learning opportunity. Visit Site
