Acer Jade Primo, which looks just like a regular smartphone with a black chassis and a metallic frame, crams in a massive 5.5-inch diagonal touchscreen, offering you large screen estate for mobile gaming and movie watching. The Super AMOLED display comes with a Full HD (1080) resolution and offers 100% NTSC colour saturation.
The phone is equipped with robust cameras for capturing superb shots. On the rear is an impressive 21-megapixel shooter with dual LED flash. Turn the phone around and you are faced with a very capable-looking 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls.
Hardware and Software
Acer Jade Primo is driven by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, featuring two Cortex A57 cores and four Cortex A53 cores. The 64-chip gets support from ample 3 GB of RAM to enable you enjoy sturdy performance and impressive responsiveness.
The storage space that will be provided on Acer Jade Primo has not yet been revealed. The smartphone will run on the latest Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
The Continuum Angle
Perhaps, the biggest selling point of the phone is that it enables you take good advantage of the Continuum feature integrated into Microsoft’s latest operating system. Users will be able to hook the Jade Primo to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse and use it like a regular Windows computer.
Little wonder its maker calls it the first PC phone. You will be able to use Windows x86 apps on the device in this mode as well. Jade Jade Primo will also ship with mouse, keyboard, and dock, which gives users Continuum in the box.
