Design and Display
The Zuk Z1 flaunts a sleek and elegant design featuring a metallic frame for a premium feel. It exhibits a relatively svelte profile at 8.9mm thick, but it is nowhere lightweight at a massive 175 grams.
On the front panel is a physical home button that has a fingerprint sensor embedded in it. The Zuk Z1 packs in a massive 5.5-inch display, which means this is essentially a phablet.
The IPS LCD touchscreen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for a pixel density of approximately 401 ppi to ensure highly enjoyable viewing, even with friends.
Camera and Storage
On the camera front, the Zuk Z1 is robustly configured. The main camera features a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS) feature, putting this phablet on par with some high-end smartphones in this regard.
The device is configured to turn out superb selfies with an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. You get 64 GB of inbuilt storage and no more for storing your photos and other files, as there appears to be no microSD card slot.

The Zuk Z1 is armed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, which delivers speeds of up to 2.5GHz. Although the chip is a bit behind the times, its fast speed combined with the RAM of 3GB capacity provided should allow you enjoy robust performance and high responsiveness.
An Adreno 330 GPU oversees graphics. The phablet will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system to provide you with awesome features and capabilities. The Chinese version of the Zuk Z1 has its maker’s ZUI skin coating the software, while the international version will come with the popular customised ROM Cyanogen Mod 12.1.
The phablet features a USB Type-C 3.0 port and is equipped with an impressive 4100mAh battery. It supports the concurrent use of two Nano-SIM cards. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.
