Oppo F9 Pro and Vivo V11 Pro are two recently launched smartphones carrying mid-range specs with similar design elements.
Nowadays, smartphones are all of a similar size coupled with almost similar specs, especially when it comes to notch-style displays and dual camera setup. Oppo and Vivo are two Chinese smartphone makers that have recently launched their new devices in the market boasting similar displays carrying a tear-drop/water-drop style notch.
We first saw both of these devices when the comparison site Tiger Mobiles leaked some renders of them earlier this year. The phones looked identical even as low quality dummies and now the Oppo F9 Pro and Vivo’s V11 Pro are actually on the shelves it’s fair to say they look virtually identical when put on the table face up next to each other.
Barring their common features, both smartphones have their own share of specs, and are slightly different from one another. Let’s get into a comprehensive comparison of the two devices and find out which one of the two stands out.
It is difficult to pick one as both the devices are equally at par with each other. Vivo V11 Pro, being a little more expensive than the Oppo F9 Pro, comes with some stand-out features than the later one.

Of the two, Vivo V11 Pro comes with a slightly bigger and better display as compared to the Oppo F9 Pro. The V11 Pro has got a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which comes with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
The device flaunts the screen-to-body ratio of 91.27 per cent. On the other hand, the Oppo F9 Pro is equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Here, the screen-to-body ratio is 90.8 percent.
Winner: Vivo V11 Pro. The brightness level of the phone is better than the Oppo F9 Pro. The colours look more vibrant on the Vivo smartphone.
Oppo F9 Pro vs Vivo V11 Pro – Performance
Performance-wise, Vivo smartphone triumphs again. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, the Vivo V11 Pro can perform multi-level tasks smoothly.
If we compare the performance of the Oppo smartphone with the Vivo device, the Oppo F9 Pro falls short. The F9 Pro is fuelled by a Mediatek Helio P60 chipset combined with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both the devices manage smartphone activities, be it gaming or surfing or playing online videos, pretty well.
Winner: Vivo V11 Pro. The device has managed to perform a slightly better as compared to the Oppo F9 Pro.
Oppo F9 Pro vs Vivo V11 Pro – Camera
In terms of optics, Vivo V11 Pro and Oppo F9 Pro are equally good. Both smartphones carry a dual rear camera setup. Vivo smartphone has got a vertically-aligned dual rear camera setup, while the Oppo device’s dual rear camera is horizontally aligned.
Vivo V11 Pro employs a 12-megapixel sensor as its primary lens and 5-megapixel sensor as a secondary one for taking portrait photos. The Oppo F9 Pro, on the flip side, sports a dual camera setup including a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel

Vivo V11 Pro packs a 3,400 mAh battery, while the Oppo F9 Pro comes with a 3,500 mAh battery. Both smartphones are capable of quick charging and can last one full day in a single charge.
