Infinix will be launching a new smartphone soon that could be a refresh to its flagship phone, the Infinix Zero. The new Infinix Zero 2 is expected to be available on time for the biggest mobile sale event of 2015, the Jumia Mobile Week Megathon.

How time flies, now we have an Infinix Zero 4.
Infinix is already teasing the upcoming launch of the new phone with the #NextHero campaign, which suggests the new phone could be named the Infinix Hero. Another campaign which seems to suggest that the new phone could be named the Infinix Hero is the #Zero2Hero campaign. However, this could also imply Infinix Zero 2.
As part of the launch Infinix have created a ZeroToHero tab on Facebook, where fans and customers of Infinix in Nigeria can share their old and current photos in such a way as to show the progress they have made from grass to grace.
Infinix will reward fans who took part in the campaign by sharing their grass to grace photos with mouthwatering prizes, which could, am guessing include the new phone.
Speaking about the campaign, Infinix Mobility Head of Marketing, Peter Zhou said: “All around the world, people are going through a lot of obstacles and difficulties in a bid to survive. Life itself is not a bed of roses. Despite all these formidable challenges, on a daily basis, people are still triumphing and excelling. All around us – our family members, friends, colleagues, school mates, among others, are people who have defied all the odds to rise to pinnacles of success. The stories are everywhere.”
“That’s the major reason Infinix Mobility has decided to celebrate this wonderful spirit by encouraging our customers and everybody using the hashtag #Zero2Hero to share their stories. We are convinced that through this campaign, many lives would be touched and inspired by the stories to be shared.” He added.
The name of the phone is not the only unknown fact about the upcoming phone from infinix. The specs and price are unknown, but as the launch date of May 28 approaches more will be known about the new smartphone.
No matter what it is named Infinix Zero 2 or Infinix Hero, the brand promises a great user experience for its costumers across Nigeria.
