Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes in a lightweight design making it comfortable for anyone to handle. It measures just 245 x 160 x 5.5 mm and weighs 400g. The Tablet features a polished metal uni-body case design in a sophisticated aluminum finish.
What’s more, the Galaxy Tab S5e is available in beautiful colors that include Gold, Silver, and Black. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a 10.5 inches with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and slim bezels.
The screen, on the other hand, features a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, 16:10 ratio and 288 PPI density for clear visuals. It has display protection and 81.6% screen-to-body ratio.
Camera and Other Features
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a single rear camera of 13 MP its back and an 8MP selfie camera. The main camera has HDR, panorama and can also shoot 4K video quality.
It also carries a Dolby Atmos which is integrated with AKG-tuned quad speakers. The maker says that the speakers have auto-rotate stereo technology that automatically determines if you are holding the tablet landscape or portrait.
Apart from the fingerprint scanner for security integrated on the power key, you can also use the Face ID to access your device.
The Galaxy Tab S5e will have an optional keyboard sleeve that connects via pogo pins for your work. You will also get a Samsung DeX in case you want to use it as a desktop PC.

Don’t be deceived by the name, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is not as powerful as the Galaxy Tab S4 but comes with some added features.
The Tab has a Qualcomm SDM670 Snapdragon 670 chipset based on 10 nm process technology with an octa-core processor handling its assignment at a speed of 2.0 GHz.
It also features Adreno 615 GPU for graphics and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Additionally is a Bixby 2.0 assistance that you can use to control your smart home devices.
Memory and Battery
The native memory on the device is 64GB which is paired with 4GB RAM. There is also another model that comes with generous inbuilt storage of 128GB and paired with ample RAM of 6GB. It also has a slot dedicated to a micro SD card up to 1 TB.
Fueling the tablet is a 7,040mAh battery with support for fast charging via a USB type-c port. It also comes with Spotify and a free three months premium subscription for new members.
Just as mentioned above, it ditched the Audio jack but comes with a Type-C connector in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e prices starts at around $421 at leading online stores. Refurbished models can go for $325 on Amazon US.
In Nigeria, the Tab is expected to cost around 145,000 Naira. In Ghana, it will sell at a price of 2,300 Ghs and 40,300 Ksh in Kenya.
The pricing will depend on the memory and the network model. There will be LTE and Wi-Fi only variants model.
