LG Electronics a leading Consumer Electronic brand has launched her Nigerian Language Television. The first of its kind in the country the new TV models come with menu language options in English as well as three major Nigerian languages of Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba.

Users of the new LG television models will be able to select menu options in English, Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba. The local language option is no doubt going to add a local touch to this television and further endear LG in the hearts and minds of Nigerians.

According to LG, they began researching on Nigerian languages around 2006. However, the feature took eight months to develop.

The new TV comes in 21’’ and 29’’ models. LG adds this new feature at no cost to the consumer.

The new TV was launched on May 2nd 2008 and is available in all LG dealer showrooms and all leading Electronic dealer shops nationwide.

LG electronics is a highly innovative brand. A few weeks ago, LG launched the first 32’’ Plasma TV in the world in the Nigerian market. Before then Plasma TVs were only available in larger screen sizes.
