Nokia has announced the X3-02 Touch and Type, an entry level touchscreen phone that also features a traditional keypad. Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type is a Value for money S40 based 3G phone supporting high speed HSDPA data and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It is a member of the XSeries music phone family and the second Nokia X3 to hit the market. Nokia X3 Touch also features 5 megapixels camera, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Twitter/Facebook integration, music/video player, dedicated music keys, and up to 16GB MicroSD memory card support. Nokia X3 Touch and Type has been available since Q3, 2010.
A Touchscreen combined with keypad
Nokia X3-02 Touch features a 2.4-inch touchscreen offering a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a colour depth of 256 thousand. The Nokia X3 Touch also comes with the standard 12-key keypad, giving users the best of both worlds. X3 Touch, because of its small 2.4-inch touchscreen easily fits in one hand making one-thumb typing easy and fast whether on keypad or touchscreen. Nokia X3 Touch and Type comes with a 5 megapixels camera, which is better than the 3.2MP camera in the standard Nokia X3. The camera is capable of recording video.

Nokia X3 Touch is a 3G phone, depending on available network it can switch between 2G (GSM) and 3G (WCDMA). It supports high-speed HSDPA data services on 3G networks. When on GSM networks, data services are available via GPRS and EDGE. Nokia X3 Touch accesses wireless LAN networks with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support, one of a few phones with Wi-Fi 802.11 n support. The built-in browser is compatible with WAP 2.0/XHTML/HTML enabling you to browse WAP pages and websites tailored for mobile browsing as well as full websites. Nokia X3 Touch comes with Twitter and Facebook integration, keeping users in-touch with updates from these social media sites.
Nokia X3 supports Bluetooth 2.1 for short-range wireless connectivity. Nokia X3 offers easy access to Nokia Ovi Store where users can download contents like games, and apps. Nokia X3 Touch and Type is also enabled to download and share music, ringtones, wallpapers, and pictures. Nokia X3 can support up to 16GB MicroSD memory card. You can use the built-in memory to copy content from and to your computer, meaning that Nokia X3 can serve as a USB drive for storing your files, but beware of virus.
