Winners have emerged in the Secure Lagos Hackathon, organized by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and sponsored by leading lender First City Monument Bank (FCMB).
The Hackathon was designed to encourage creation of technology-based solutions to help secure the lives and properties of Lagosians, improve the operations of security and safety agencies, as well as provide employment opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship amongst youths in the state.
The 3-day event which began on Friday, May and ended Sunday, May 20 saw applications received from over 200 techies with innovative ideas.

We are currently building a system to computerize the academia in Nigeria using minimally invasive social networking tools to enhance effective communication, better learning experience and collaborative development in our higher education institutions (HEI).
Simply stated, we intend providing academic software tools for free to all HEIs while gluing the use of these tools via social networking/communication tools.

The iDEA Hackathon 2013 will be judged by a panel of experts throughout the Entertainment and Tech industry including various top entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and celebrity judges. Listed below are the rules:
1. You can prepare wireframes, outlines, notes, idea validation, make digital mockups, you name it. But no coding can be done until Tuesday 30 July
2. Teams must consist of at least 1 person but at max 5 people
